The CCR-12 cooler can run continuously provided that it has the proper ventilation requirement which is a minimum of 5 inches clearance all around the unit. It also has to be maintained periodically and the unit would have to be unplugged and the back panel removed and the fan motor and heatsink cleaned. It can get dusty and that would impact performance. It may also have to be manually defrosted and unplugged for a few days to completely dry out the interior of the cooler.
